Rising Health Insurance Cost; New Rules Decided
But according to a recent report released today, now the government has decided to introduce certain new, equal and permanent rules for all. This set of regulations will come into effect from January onwards. And under this, a family with two adults and two children will be liable to pay premiums with an increase of €200.
Apart from this, there will be four different rate categories: for adults, children, those covered for public hospitals only and the last group will consist of people that are benefited with private hospital plans.
In recent months, people have already experienced a sequence of premium hikes by many insurers. And with this increase, there are fears that a large number of people might get themselves out of the health insurance market.
Health insurance is important but not at the cost of our daily needs.
