Google to Ship Google Glasses within One Month
It has been revealed recently in a report that Google Glass Explorer Edition would soon be in the hands of the developers.
As of today, Google Ventures event was held, wherein it was affirmed by Google Inc. that it has planned to ship Google Glasses within the next month to developers. The aim is to see these with developers before Google Glass I/O, the major event of the year, could go on its go.
It has been found that Google has been a bit late in shipping the glasses, but it is yet earlier than late and better as well.
For the formation of the `Glass Collective', Google Ventures has entered into partnership with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Andreessen Horowitz.
The developers had preordered the gadget the previous year only. These developers are being hoped to partake in the Glass Mirror API as well, which is most likely to be launched at Google I/O. The Google I/O is wondered to focus primarily on Google Glass and the same is making developers excited for its launch.
"Google allowed I/O attendees to pre-register for Google Glasses, but never really reached out to these developers since, except for sending them glass blocks with their wait-list number engraved on it", said the Tech Crunch website.
