Microsoft to Come up with Smaller Tablets
It has been recently revealed that Microsoft has been
working on the development of Surface tablets having Windows 8. It is expected
that the production of tablets including a seven inch version will start by the
end of 2013.
When asked from Microsoft's authorities, it was found that
they have taken the step to match their steps with the growing demand of
smaller tablets. They further affirmed that smaller tablets are quite in vogue
these days and their launch of new tablets will surely be liked by people.
Though Microsoft has been trying to meet the demand, it has
been found to be witnessing a number of criticisms as well. It has been said
that the Surface Pro is under scanner because of its repair warranty and
warranty of main parts.
Microsoft has been providing one year warranty for both,
repair and repair of main parts. But China has been asking that the company
should be following the country's rule that is one year repair warranty and two
year warranty for main parts.
Microsoft is not the first company, which has faced such
criticism as Apple has faced the same. "It sounds potentially worrisome;
it looks a copycat of the whole Apple thing", said Doug Young, an author.
