Candidates who have failed in PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery
Test) earlier are not eligible to apply for Pilot Entry, but
can apply for the Observer Entry scheme. Pilot post is reserved for male
candidates only.
Age Limit
Candidate age must be between 19 years to 24 years for
General candidates.
And between 19 years to 25 years for CPL holders.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess Graduate Degree in any discipline.
Should have qualified 10+2 level with Mathematics &
Physics for General candidates
The candidate must be holding valid and current CPL issued
by DGCA (India) for CPL holders.

Selection Procedure
Higher educational qualification is considered as cut off
for Indian Navy SSC Officer Pilot/ Observer vacancies.
Those who are shortlisted will be called for SSB interview
which is scheduled from July to Nov 2013 at Bangalore.
The interview is of two stages. Stage I consists of
Intelligence Tests, Picture Perception and GD. Stage II consists of
Psychological tests, Group task tests and interview.
Candidates who are successful in these two stages have to
undergo PABT followed by Aviation Medical Examination for Pilot post and
Aviation Medical examination for Observer post.
How to Apply
Interested eligible candidates can apply online through
www.nausena-bharti.nic.in
On successful submission of online application, an
Application Number will be generated by the system. This Application Number
will automatically appear on the printout of the form. Candidates are required
to take two printouts of the online Application Form having the system
generated Application Number. They should send one copy, after pasting their
photograph and signing it on the space provided for the purpose, along with
attested copies of relevant documents, to ‘Post Box No. 02, Sarojini Nagar, New
Delhi - 110023’.
Candidates should super-scribe the words “Online Application
No. _______Application for SSC Pilot/Observer – December 2013 Course
Qualification ______Percentage ___%” on the envelope containing the application
copy.
They should keep the other copy of the printout with them
for reference.
