Microsoft Needs Help to let Windows 8 Go On
IDC predicts that global tablet shipments may see a
significant surge this year, a report has revealed. As the consumer demand is
on rise with the arrival of new products, some 117 million shipments are being
hoped to be seen for 2012.
Tablets are highly being demanded and amid everyone else,
the popular tech-giant Apple Inc. only seems to be at the top with its
products. Consider its iPhone or iPad or the new MacBook Air, everything fails
other companies' advanced devices, keeping them down to it.
Apple is continuing to progress since years, with no
downfall and is being expected to touch the sky in the years to come as well.
No doubt, Google also has shown progression over years with the introduction of
Android or Google Plus.
But, it is being said that mostly, the search giant exists
in the lower-revenue sphere of software. However, as far as Microsoft is
considered, it cannot follow Apple's logic of success. The report says that
Microsoft's gaming experience being different from its computing experience is
letting it down.
And therefore, a healthy circulatory ecosystem is a must for
it before it brings Windows 9. "Tablets running Microsoft's upcoming
Windows 8 and RT operating systems, including the company's own Surface
tablets, will add some momentum", said Jennifer Song, IDC research
analyst.
