NMAT 2012 - 2013 Notification & Admission
NMAT is an MBA entrance test for admissions to
Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Mumbai. The NMAT entrance
exam comprises of the quant section for checking the quantitative ability, a
language section is there for testing the language skills & logical
reasoning. The exam is an online examination with multiple choice objective
questions.
NMAT 2012 - 2013 is expected to be on the same
lines as the NMAT 2012 paper. NMAT 2012 paper pattern had following sections -
Language Skills, Quantitative Ability and Logical Reasoning. 150 questions were
to be solved in 120 minutes. NMAT online exam pattern is as follows.

A few things to note about NMAT 2013 are the
changes in the marking scheme and the extended date selection window for the
NMAT 2013 CBT. NMIMS has brought about some important changes in the NMAT 2012
which are extremely beneficial for the candidates taking the exam. Have a look
at some of the major changes in the NMAT 2013.
- NMAT 2012 - 2013 will be conducted
over a 3 month long window as opposed to just a 10 day window for the
previous NMAT exam.
- Candidates can chooser the test
date as per their convenience.
- Each candidate would be given a
unique question paper for NMAT 2013.
- There would be no negative marking
in the NMAT 2013 paper.
NMAT Registration/NMAT
Application Form
NMAT registration procedure is an important
step in the NMAT application. Do not miss the important dates for NMAR
registration. Here is a step by step guide for the NMAT registration procedure.
- NMAT Registration 2012 process
begins by logging on to the NMAT 2012-2013 website. Click on the Register
for NMAT-2012 on the NMAT website. A new window would open up for filling
the NMAT online application form 2012.
- Click on the New User Registration
button on the left side of the screen.
- Click on the I Agree button to
accept the Terms and Conditions after going through the Terms and
Conditions.
- Fill in all the details asked in
the NMAT online application form related. Fields marked (*) are mandatory.
If you have any doubt regarding what needs to be filled in each field,
click on the How to fill the Form link at the top of the page.
- A unique NMAT-2013 ID will be
displayed on the next screen, once you submit. You are required to pay the
NMAT 2013 exam fee for successful completion of your registration.
For NMAT 2012 - 2013 registration fee you
can choose any of the three payment modes specified below:
Payment at AXIS Bank branch - If you choose to make cash payment at one of the designated Axis bank branches
Credit Card - If you choose to pay through your credit card
Demand Draft - If you choose to pay through a demand draft

NMAT 2013 Eligibility
Criteria
For NMAT 2013 a candidate must have Bachelor's
Degree (10+2+3) with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Two years work
experience is preferred. Candidates appearing in the final exams of the
qualifying exam can also apply.
NMAT 2012 exam is not very different from the
other entrance exams being conducted for the management programs. Candidates
appearing for NMAT 2012 usually work with a set of tips and techniques that
have help them perform better in the NMAT 2012 exam.
- Make a proper timetable for your
preparations.
- Make sure you complete the NMAT
2013 syllabus in time and have enough time at hand to revise.
- Take Mock NMAT papers and tests.
- Make sure that the tests are timed
and analyzed carefully.
- Avoid being anxious a day before
the NMAT 2013 exam. Keep your cool, take it easy and give it your best
shot.
